David Clifford has been voted GAA.ie Footballer of the Week.

The prolific Kerry forward received 14,204 votes on the GAA’s Official Instagram page which put him ahead of Donegal’s Conor O’Donnell (5,647) and Kildare’s Darragh Kirwan (3,463).

David Clifford (Kerry)

Another classy display from David Clifford inspired Kerry to victory over Tyrone at Croke Park. The fantastic Fossa forward finished with a 1-9 haul.

Conor O’Donnell (Donegal)

The in-form Conor O’Donnell supplied 1-3 from play in Donegal’s comfortable win against Meath at GAA headquarters. O’Donnell caused the Royals significant problems throughout.

Darragh Kirwan (Kildare)

Darragh Kirwan contributed 0-8 in Kildare’s Tailteann Cup Final triumph over Limerick at Croke Park. Kirwan was a potent threat for the Lilywhites.
