Raymond Galligan has stepped down as manager of the Cavan senior football team.

On Monday afternoon, Cavan GAA released a statement confirming Galligan’s decision.

“Following two years in charge, Raymond Galligan is announcing with immediate effect his decision to step down as Cavan senior football team manager,” the statement said.

During his playing career, Galligan made 114 appearances for Cavan, including captaining the Breffni county to Ulster SFC glory in 2020.
