Antrim SFC Final

Dunloy 3-12 Erins Own, Cargin 2-8

At Corrigan Park, Dunloy produced a dynamic display of attacking football to win the Antrim SFC title for the first time in 89 years.

Keelan Molloy was prominent for Dunloy, who made a blistering start against Cargin.

Despite Dunloy’s bright start, the eventual winners were relieved in the 10th minute that Tomas McCann dragged a penalty wide.

Luke McFerran subsequently netted a goal for Dunloy, but Cargin responded with a Conhuir Johnston major.

Nonetheless, Dunloy departed at the interval 1-5 to 1-3 ahead.

Johnston narrowed the gap to the minimum after the restart, but Dunloy pounced for a second goal in the 33rd minute.

Nigel Elliott supplied the finish for Dunloy, who added a third goal on 39 courtesy of Seaan Elliott.

Michael McCann netted a penalty for Cargin in the closing stages, but Dunloy refused to be denied.
